Was a lazy, stay at home day today. So I spun both sides of one tape and decided to film parts of some of the songs. This is an untitled tape, consisting mainly of "dump" and "leftover" songs from the 1990's that I really liked, but never found room for on any of my other tapes from the period. I recorded it in either late 2000 or early 2001 on a Quantegy 457 wound onto a Scotch reel.

Enjoy!

I went through a couple, excellent work as always! *thumbsup* On 'I Touch Myself' the light playing off the Scotch reel is reely neat *hypnot*

A good R2R deck is a MUST have for any serious analog system. A good cassette deck using premium tape is a good alternative, but just something about a reel to reel that completes a setup.

Speaking of which...no one else has anything to add to what might be the final videos of the Des-Lab system in its current setup? It may get dismantled within the next few weeks and I have no idea when it will be put back together.

Well, by looking at the dates of the previous posts, this post is quite late, but I did enjoy the song selection. I also made a comment on the Toad the Wet Sprocket song. I grew up with that song and still sing along to it today.

In any event, I love your Teac. I own a X-3 MkII myself. Teac was one of the best I have seen in open reel quality.

yes sir, nothing like having good solid analog components to polish off a media center installation. My current project 'M2' is a fantastic blend of technologies spanning 50 years. Tube audio, r2r tape, vinyl, dvd/cd, 1080p video and a linux box in the center. you gotta love technology, no matter what decade it's from...
