Ok, this is killin' me, I just got the mail and my DVD of "live at vallhall homecoming" came today. It won't play*fit* it's region(2) Europe
I quickly call a girlfriend, Loraine, who happens to own Draco Studios, convienently right down the road. She says bring it by, we'll make a (1) playable copy. Not today, they're closing early for a long holiday weekend, damn, oh well, I've waited years for this, whats a few days? It's from the 2001 tour filmed in their hometown arena in Norway, go ahead and laugh at me, I like these guys, even the pop crap Big-> *flame*

Review coming whether you like them or not*devil*

Never any need to apologize for your music. It's all good. I was listening to a Roxette tape the other day .... stuff I'd never heard when they were popular. Music is good for ya, so play what you like.....

..... unless it's Rick Astley ...... :D

Hey, before they invented the Rick roll it wasn't too bad. :D

I've got Rick roll 12" remixes and his debut LP, and I like Roxette and ABBA too!*fm*

side note: ABBA fans must see "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert" (1994ish) Austrailian indie film, trust me.

yeah, i like ABBA as well. their stuff tends to sound like prototypes of every trend in japanese anime music over the last 20-odd years. good stuff, to be sure...

Once again I direct all Rick Astley fans to the song "Debbie Gibson Is Pregnant With My Two-Headed Love Child" by Mojo Nixon And Skid Roper. It's got a verse about Rick in it. I'm not a fan of Rick Astley so I thought it was classic. If your a big fan of Rick you may not find it so funny.

You might be able to watch that DVD on your computer with VLC. That program does not care about region codes.

I think so as well, they really matured into a tight band, and Morten's voice is just undescribable. They never got credit or airplay in the states after the debut, they got fed up and pull out of our market after Memorial Beach. I'll be buying everything I can get my grubby hands on soon, there's lots I see. I just wanted to start with the concert DVD first. I was fortunate to live in NYC in the 80's and scored all the first 3 albums on LP along with numerous remixes on LP. Got some great stuff when I went to Europe in '89.

Thanks for the 'puter advice RWN, this machine I use is Dale's and I don't mess with settings on it. Besides I want to see it on the (1989) Sony Trinitron KV-32TW75 and hear it on the main system. Dale could probably copy it on this thing for me but I'd like to see Loraine and check out the studio again, lots of great stuff in there.

((cake mix))
((instrumental))
((lp cut))
((escape to new york mix))-mixed by The Extra Beat Boys
^^^Craig's personal fav.

When you had your avvie of Rick, I pulled out others and now I can't find them*fit* They're around somewhere.

Thank you very much!

Don't rush on getting it finished, as I am going to camp, and am not bringing a cassette deck.

These will be great to hear!
