*Spin*, Hello from sunny southern California.
I have been lurking a bit arround here ever since a friend on that banning site clued me into Tapeheads existence.
I primarily play music on vinyl since that what most of my collection is stored on. I do however have a nice vintage Teac RTR and several cassette tape decks. I used to make copies of my Lps on tape so that I could take the music in the car or to the beach on my Sony walkman. Haha, guess I'm showing my age.
I hope to learn lots on this site, so hopefully I can get the Teac in top working order.
I truely hope that this site is "all audio, no attitude" *wave*

Welcome! Glad to see another SoCal TH'er. Not many of us yet. So wherabouts are you at? Also that you finally took the plunge to join our community.

And no. No attitude here. We'll help you in any way we can with your Teac. And since vinyl seems to be your forté, we will probably learn a lot from you. *Hi5*

Thanks to every one who offered me a warm welcome here!!!!!!!!!

And yes stuwee, I will have to work on getting some more tapes. I'm not sure if I have any of the ones from back in the day left. I know I have two boxes of reel tapes, some pre-recorded & some blank that came with the vintage Teac when I bought it. And vinyl well perhaps one can have too much, NOT! lol I do however fib a bit on the quantity of vinyl stored in the garage these days. I seems most folks think I more than weird and just plain nutz when I tell them how large the vinyl collection really is. So now I downsize it a bit if I talk about it, *Spin*.

And to answer the administrator's question.I live in Torrance (or Borrance as I grew up calling it), not all that far from you but not next door like JuanDoe.
