Welcome aboard! A friend of mine used to live on Staten Island. And I would go out there once a year and make the rounds. So I've seen plenty of NYC. Used to love visiting all of the electronics shop in Chinatown. During the mid and late 90's, nearly every vendor in that area sold some kind of blank cassette tapes. Most of them were low end and/or stuff I already had. But every once in awhile, I'd happen across something really neat.
NYC is a place I wouldn't want to live, but I sure did love visiting.

Welcome, Ram. Always room for another Nak afficianado. I'd love to hear a 1000ZXL ltd some day -- the discussions on Nak Talk indicate that it is an amazing deck.

Hello Ram. I've been here two-timing NakTalk. I love all types of tape to death, so here we play with reels, video, and other ephemera. There is a wealth of knowledge on this list, expecially about tape (the raw material) that cannot be found elsewhere.
Check out the tape collections threads, and the collection of portable cassette players!
