From my local CL: "Beatles original copy on Reel to Reel of entire STEREO US releases library. BEATLES ENTIRE MUSIC-This is a complete set of the Beatles US STEREO release lp's from Mobil Fidelity Sound Lab box set. Amazing sound quality and rare because the early albums were all released on CD in mono. These were transfered in a recording studio where I worked using professional equipment onto a combination of 15 and 7.5 inches per second professional reel to reel tape stock. I made this set for my personal use from the MFSL box set. The set has been played 5 or 6 times each. Tapes are all on 7.5 and 10 inch reels and are like new"
I talked to the guy, he just wanted them to go to a good home...MINE! Is that cool or what? The only thing is I don't have any 15ips capability, so hopefully most of them are 7.5's...I'm excited!!!*reelspin*

Cool. I myself have just begun searching out the US releases for my collection since I need pretty much most of that catalog series to complete my collection here. Won 2 on Ebay so far, but have a long way to go. So was it the records you won or the reel to reels? I was confused by your post. If its the records you won- I'd love some 7" 7.5 ips copies for myself. I figured I'd be ok for that since I intend on collecting the albums anyway, so copyright shouldn't be an issue then.

He scored the reels!! Good on ya 8!! You need to get a deck that plays 15ips for sure, the reels you get will make the price of the deck more than worth it!! *check* Those LP's sell for $1,000+ on ebay!
Braxus, you may have to settle for cassette, this is a super nice offer http://www.tapeheads.net/showthread.php?t=3318
I can't believe no ones taken him up on it!

I saw that post. Thanks. Thing is I was planning on making my own cassettes on the deck I will be using here. But reel to reel might make me go for it since I can listen either my cassettes or his reel to reels. Thing is I don't have any MA-R tapes to give.
