I listed my main system, which had the SAE A202 that I bought new in the 80's. Very nice amp, tons of power into a low ohm load.
But, I wanted more,*RF*'s and me don't get along very well, so finger hovering over the Bid Now button on several choice rigs, I got the Yammie last week:-oo too much fun! I've yet to get near the limit of this beast.It must have been used once or twice, has that new amp smell when warming up, one tiny scratch on the top, no marks anywhere else, not even a chaffing on the connectors. 'Logans can be ruthless on an amp, and anything upstream, I'm playing everything all over again, high*praise* indeed, and I take these things seriously folks. The midrange is to die for, the speakers shortcomings, deep bass and uber top end have been whipped into shape so to speak! Well recorded piano is my acid test, anything percussive really. Ben Folds Live on a concert grand is dropping my*old**butt* on the couch jaw on my chest. you can hear his foot stompin' the suspended wood floor of the stage, and those weird parts where he plays the piano with his elbows or fingers it like a harp:)
