I stumbled on this site as a member of AK. I see many Akers in here and that is a comforting feeling.
I started taping about fifty years ago and have collected tapes of all kinds over the years. In my teaching I used tape as a teaching tool and have accumulated many interesting things over the years.
The time has come that I need room for other musical interests and some of my tapes and equipment need to find a new home. This room seems to be a place that folks with an interest in tapes can exchange ideas and pick up recordings and gear that they can use.
I have hundreds of pre-recorded R2Rs, thousands of cassettes, many tape decks and other assorted recording gear that needs to find a home. I am hoping to find those out there that will appreciate this stuff.
I look forward to talking to all of you out there and thanks to Matt for sticking with this idea!!:)
