here i am again! just trying to spread awareness on this undervalued little nugget from 1990/1993; The PIONEER VSX-D1S A/V Receiver. i have owned mine since 2003, and i can say with confidence that it is the finest receiver PIONEER has ever made since the SX-1980. make no mistake, this is no ordinary BPC, but a fine audio component surely designed by veteran engineers. it can handle virtually any speaker load, and wrest out every ounce of their sonic potential, too. rated at 130wpc @8 ohms, it was measured by the magazines at an actual 165wpc. if you ever give in to a BPC age unit, this is the one to give in to!!!!:)

(DEFINITELY IN MY POSSESSION, FOREVER)

truly, the only thing this sucker is missing is rosewood side panels!! also, as an aside, i recommend a CU-AV200 as your primary remote with this receiver...

The early 80's Pioneer's are very underrated, most would walk right by one at a GW or GS(so you've got folks looking a little harder now), I like seperates, I've put the A-90 intergrated on my list, oohh, all that copper on the chassis*eyepop* AZ is the Copper State. There were 2 !jam!'n M-91 power amps that went for a little over 8 and 7 hundred respectively, way too rich for me:(

indeed, link a C-90 preamp and an M-90 poweramp together with an M-91 AM/FM tuner, CT-91 cassette deck, PD-91 CD player, DV-09 DVD player, HPM-1000 loudspeakers, and the PIONEER plasma display of your choice, and you have the PIONEER A/V system to end them ALL. of course, we're talking about a multi-thousand dollar project...

Fuses.

If it were any more messed up it would flash a message and shut down.

Please describe how you are operating the set to get this behavior.

Thanks.
