Welcome aboard! So who told you that THIS is the place to be-if I may be so nosy? *scratchchin*
Whoever told you, advised you well. This is THE place to be to talk not just tape, but all sorts of vintage analog audio. We are like a little fraternity here. Don't know about Toronto, but we have several Canucks here including Braxus (one of the original members and whom we all adore) as well as Broonsbane, one of our moderators. A great guy and a sucker for a Frank Zappa record and Chef Boyardee box pizza kit.

Welcome! I have family up in Seagrave (by Port Perry) and in Ajax, so I get up there somewhat regularly. I have seen quite a bit of vintage gear at some of the flea markets up there as well.
The GTA is so expansive and has so many people and cultures, I find it a very interesting place indeed.
Take care and enjoy the site... Its a lot of fun!

Welcome, maximilian. The Portastudio is cool with its double-speed transport. Do you use the multitrack for studio work?
