Glad to see you made it on the site Ayeka! Anyway got some good tapes there, though I never had luck with those Triad MG-X tapes. Always had tape shed on those. Oh and how I remember that Starship album! I was in grade 9 when it came out and I must have listenned to it numerous times then.

yeah, it's such a great album! thanks for the heads up on the TRIAD, i'll be sure to put it into disuse...

You can always try the tape before you do so. If it gets the tape path dirty fairly quickly, you'll know to no longer use it. I had bad luck with these tapes, but you might have a good one. Again try it first.

Is Triad related to That's tapes, the MG-X looks identical to the That's VX cassette ?

I'm a long time user of That's tapes and have, so far, found them to be well made and reliable.
Their Suono tape is excellent, not so far behind the top TDKs and Maxells.

Has anyone found mechanical issues with That's ?

Traid and That's are the same company. They just used the name Triad in North America, while That's was everywhere else.
