My Tube Receivers

Goodness, I must be really into tubes. I picked up a mint Fisher 500C with all original Fisher tubes except for the outputs which are GE's. Been playing it all day today. I also have a pair of Bogen RP-60's with the golden face. To tell you the truth, the RP-60 sounds better. It is sharper. I'm sure condition has a lot to do with sound in these old receivers.

Been playing the 500C for the past hour and the sound is clearing up. It was a console pull and judging by how dirty the controls were, must have sat for a long time. I suppose tubes need wake up time after a long hibernation.
