Im aware of 35-90 and 35-180 tape, but what is 50-60 tape? I managed to come upon some 50-60 XL-I tape that came with a metal Maxell 7" reel as a package on Ebay. The tapes are sealed. Can someone go over what the numbers mean again? Matt?

See Maxell reel collection (http://www.tapeheads.net/showthread.php?t=286).
50-60
=1.5 mil, 1200' (50 micron thickness, 60 minutes, nearest round number)
33 min ea way 7 ½ ips.
Same tape on 10" reel would be "50-120"

Here's a scan I did of a 50-60 tape. Last year I picked up a box of these tapes, all sealed and never used. The sound quality is great !!
