Conrad KD-269 SS Power Amp.

In my quest to get a 4th amp for my active system, I just won this German SS power amp from that auction site.

I had never heard of this brand before, and all I know is that it puts out 125 watts / 8 ohms, has a toroidal transformer, and weighs a very respectable 11.5 kgs.

Anyone ever ran into one of these?

Jorge, I've never seen one exactly like that, but I'd wager some $$'s that it's a CJ, Conrad Johnson or maybe an offshoot of their Sonogram line, good stuff either way *thumbsup*!

I wish you were right, Craig, but I´m usually not that lucky. I believe this is a somewhat cheaper kind of amp.

Anyway, I intend using it bellow 100 Hz in my 4 way active system, so it will be asked to deliver power, but not necessarily much finesse.

when i copied it it was in english. really what it said is 125 watts into 8 ohms. it goes down to 10hz.
