I answered a ad for a linear tracking turntable for $30 on craigslist. I have been looking for awhile for one and this guy was the original owner and he even had a spare stylus and a spare cartridge/stylus in the factory packaging. The brand is Carrera. It works nice and he kept it in good shape.
I asked him if he had any cassette stuff and he says that he has some old cassettes in the basement. He ends up giving them all to me for free and what you see here is probably less than half of them with a few that I intend to keep were kept out of the picture like some unused XLII's circa 1985 or so. I am going to give away the rest at a record store or Goodwill and these mostly include SA-90's and the used XLII's, etc. among others.
Most of the ones without the liner cards are TDK HX-S90's. There must be 20 or more of them, some recorded on some not from what I can tell. And even a few MX-90's with one still being sealed. He also gave me a TDK demagnatizer and a cool cassette alignment and test tape.
I now have more cassettes than I know what to do with and I have been trying to record first with my cassettes that are already opened, so I will likely put most of my big sealed stash collection up for sale soon. I have some good stuff like some different brand/model of metals including some real rare Teac Studio 52G "reel type" ones. If anyone is in the market for blank cassettes check the classifieds section in the coming days.
