Anyone else had experience with the Sony Ta-1055 integrated?

I have one, and thin it's pretty good, but would love to know what others think....

20wpc continuous into 8 ohms....27 into 4.
Aux, mic inputs, 2 tape monitors, tuner, and high filter.....

Yep.

I rescued mine from the school's trash pile.....taking it to fat camp this summer as my camp system with some Realistic Minimus-12's.:)

I would think that would sound just fine. I've seen very little Sony gear out and about, but the few I have seen (and heard) have been decent performers. I don't know much about the Minimus-12's, but that seems like a nice small system with good bookshelf-sized speakers would be a happy-to-listen-to setup.

The minimus-12's are what got me into the speaker acquiring bug again...after 10 months in recovery :D

I love the Minimus-12's. They will be PERFECT for the application.

I am not much of a fan of sliders for volume control, but for the price it looks like a nice amp. It should work out well with the Minimus-12's

Neither am I. Luckily my iPod will be the source, and I'll just set the sliders where I want them and use the ipod as a volume control.
