I know the Tascam 32 can be changed over to IEC by changing some jumper wires and a few components too. Although people who have UK and European versions of it wil have their machines already set up for IEC EQ from the factory.

great article, but at aprx $250 per tape, I'll pass.
While the content may sound great, it's not realistically priced except for those with excess money to burn, save yourself some coin and get a copy of bittorrent, download the artist's title of interest, before you drop for the high dollar "master tape".

nothing wrong with converting 1/4" to 1/2 track format, but just so you can listen to a over priced release doesn't make much sense.
