This album is like crack. Once you listen, you can't stop.
I like every song, except for the last one.
The title track is by far the best song on the album. Have listened to it probably 30 plus times since I acquired it last weekend. The video is pretty good too.

The single "Video Games" has been on my radar for some time, "BTD" is garnering a fair amount of UK airplay and (mostly) positive reviews.

If you like every one EXCEPT the last, is that a hangover or rehab?
Yes, I've heard a couple of the songs sampled in an interview, it's definitely all that.

I picked it up on vinyl yesterday.
It sounds much better than the cd. The cd had a funny sound to it that I can't nail down.

Does it sound like a stuffy nose? Phased?
I heard the Broken Bells? LP and it sounds like an LP ought to, well-mannered and like I was listened to a good early 80s LP like Face Value or Bella Donna or especially good old Tubular Bells, 3 of my favorite LPs.
Has anybody else experienced this? Your location might help as different countries will have different distributors and pressing plant locations perhaps.
And see if you can pin down some of the things you experienced by starting with flat tone, no loudness and taking any equalizers and processors out of the loop, using headphones *CD walkmen, obvious need and turn off all of the above including any ambience/headroom expansion circuits). Check the patchcords and replace if needed...they break wires a lot more than you'd think for stuff that sits there a lot not getting moved. I uise them over and over and when I find a channel out or flaky I often find I pulled it and maybe didn't remember it was bad the first time.
Bad habit from hoping the computer card or RAM isn't bad, just the computer. I still have PC100 as I still have Pentium II and III, even slot 1/2 board brought to me to look over.
Is there something in the booklet, back or the label that might tell you?

It isn't anything with my equipment. It just sounds funny. Echoey or compressed or something I just can't put my finger on. Kind of sharp and harsh sounding. Other cd's don't sound that way, and none of my other media sound that way either.
