boy did i lose sleep the other night!! i had just tweaked the programming on my D1S' remote, and i went to test it out. i turn on the receiver, and adjust the volume, all with the remote. then i take my finger off the MASTER VOLUME - on the remote, but the VOL knob keeps on going down on it's own!!!! i go to turn it off, but the receiver suddenly won't respond to remote commands!!!! i do it by hand, then go and depress the receiver's RESET button. yet, the damned machine STILL doesn't respond to remote commands!! so, i attempt several more RESET cycles, as well as popping the top and blowing the interior clean with canned air. STILL no good!! VERY upset, i resign to pulling the mains and letting it sit cold a night. thank goodness, that did the trick!! the temporarily mad D1S is back to it's old trusty self!! has anyone else had issues like this with a digital solid-state Audio/A/V component?
