Need to ask a stupid question?
Since the 222 model does not simultaneous encode and decode. and if I monitor the playback while recording, will it sound like crap?
I bought one but have not yet received it and was just wondering if I need to get a different one for my 3 head decks?
I dont suppose you can push both record and playback buttons in? Only one button record or playback can be depressed at a time?
I think I just made another stupid purchase*fit**ill*

Record and playback will not engage at the same time.

You could add a second 222 and use them dedicated to play and record. Need to make sure the calibration is correct on each.

The unit to have is a 224 to do simultaneous play and record.
