Just a couple of old pics that survived my 'puter crash, my soon to be resurrected babies, maybe someone could photoshop the last one for my halloween avatar, you know, gnarly arms reachin' for the AR's, evil grins and eyes....kinda like a contest.

Wow! Those aren't speakers, they are SPEAKERS!!!. I assume they are electrostatics? They sure look like them. The closest I have ever gotten to 'stats are my Stax headphones. You couldn't fit them in my apartment. But I don't see any amp driving them....

Good eyes guys, yes, that is Humble Pie's Smokin' *thumbsup* those stacks of LP's are what's in heavy rotation on any given week. They're also a great way to tune the bass in the room. 'Logans are notorious for needing tweaks to get them just so. I'm prepping the room today for the woofer replacement on the speaker on the right, just like rebuilding an engine, everything must be spotless. *hope**hope* I'll have them going this afternoon, this is all daunting for me taking them apart even though it's just a unhook/hook back up deal. The new woofer will need to be broken in to catch up with the 'stat panels, so I'll be tweakin' and moving them about to get it right over the next few weeks.
ferriteman, they are very much like having Stax in a room, you can walk into the venue you're listening to. The angled ceiling is a PITA to tame but, the wood warms things up nicely! I put my amps on top of the TV to keep the speaker cables short. The tiny SAE is in those older shots, it handled them nicely but, I wanted more power and finesse. The Yamaha below is what I'm using now. It's beyond purrfect for me *eyepop* 260+ clean watts into 4ohms, I can't recomend the big Yamaha's from that era enough for driving difficult speakers *thumbsup**praise*. It's truely an amazing amplifier and they are amazing speakers!

That is a very nice amp and those speakers.. I might be able to hear them from up here in Wisconsin!
I don't know why, but the picture of that tape.. it just looks.. i don't know, sad? It looks like it's about to jump to its demise! Poor thing, I hope you talked it down! *grin*
