Anybody own a pair? My local SA has a set in sad shape, need refoaming and more. But if I can pick them up for cheap......
OM says 20-60 wpc. 5-1/4" woofer so it's not going to go very deep in the bass. But they are Infinity.....
Thoughts?

Not so deep but quality bass I prefer over lower booming bass.
I don't know the RS-125 but Infinity's we're always good.

No, 1/2" polycarbonate tweeter. The foam on both woofers is totally shot. Hmmmmmm...

If memory serves, these have a graphite-reinforced woofer. The polycarbonate tweeter isn't as nice as the EMITS, but it's respectable-sounding. Refoaming isn't a big deal- I've done a number of Infinities. You can do it yourself or send them out (I'd suggest Orange County Speaker).

Oh, I've refoamed quite a few pairs of speakers. Just trying to decide if these are worth it, since the refoam kit will cost more than the speakers. Cabinets need some work too.

Haven't heard the 125's but I have a pair of RS-325's. For bookshelf speakers they are very detailed and clean in the mids and highs, though light on the deeper bass frequencies as you mention. I stacked them on top of my MCS (Technics) speakers and the combo was quite nice. I have them in storage now as I'm using my Phase Linear Andromeda's.. :)
If you have a place you can use the RS-125's (bedroom, study, etc) where you won't want thumpin' bass, they should redeem themselves quite nicely.
