Yep. Today is that day. I'm now a *old* of 35, although I'm adamant that I aint going in for my first prostate exam until I'm 40. *headache*

What I've heard all my life is soooooooo true. Life is like a reel tape: the closer you get to the end, the faster it moves. I remember 1998 (ten years ago) like it was yesterday. I remember thinking in 1998 that while I remembered 1988 (ten years before THAT) and it seemed like an eternity ago.

Sheesh. I still remember my freshman year in high school. Was it REALLY 20 years-as in TWO decades ago? I did the math. And counted the years. And yup. It sure is. Wow.

Anyway. Thanks guys. God willing, I will be on this earth for many more years to come. And I certainly plan to keep the tape rolling and the reels spinning for as many of those years as possible. Today will be a normal day at work. Mrs Des and I will be going out to dinner just the two of us tonight. And then tomorrow night, going out again, but with all the friends. We are going to my favorite steak house, which I'll be sure to post full pictures of.

I'm glad to have had the opportunity to give this site to you. I'm proud of it. And even more proud that all of you came to it, liked it, and continue to stick around. After all. What good would something like this be if no one bothered to come?

unless you notice the doctor has both hands free ...

Well tonight was just Mrs Des and myself. We got back a little while ago. Nothing fancy, we just went out to El Torito....you know....Americanized Mexican. But it was nice.

The real fun will be tomorrow night when all of us go to my favorite steak house. I won't say what it is or even what city it's in 'cuz I'm afraid that someone might try to crash it. But plenty of pictures will follow on Sunday.
