Finally got to hook my HD880's to my 2500!

All I can say is, Wow, wow, wowww! The cleanest of highs, clear, sharp mids, & rock solid Bass, from the tiniest whisper, all the way up to full throttle. They turned out sounding a bit better than my previous set of 880's. There's absolutely no coloration, no shrill, and no fatigue! Much to my surprise, the crossover assemblies I had in my parts bin have braided silver core wiring, which I used in these cabinets. My previous set had silver plated copper core wiring. Silver plated copper core is good, but solid silver core is really good. Gives the sound a sharper edge, and better imaging. Less signal compression & better continuity.
