Okay, so....forgot to post here first, my name is Edward (4tified). Glad to finally find a place that feeds my FeCr addiction. I'm building up quite a collection of tape decks and don't think there is an end in sight. Maybe I should seek help instead, but meh, I kinda like it. Thanks for letting me be a part of this awesome community *reelspin**reelspin*

Just eBay and thrift shops. There's a shop close to me that has thousands of tapes, a good number of them never-opened blanks and among those, a few FeCr tapes in the mix. I found a brand-new Scotch FeCr tape (Still in wrapper) off of ebay a few months ago. The sound challenges some of Maxell's newer Type II mid-fi tapes. Then again, the older tapes seem to be the best. Hope to score some TDK MA's locally sometime in the next few days/weeks.*hope*

Thanks for the welcome everybody :-) I can tell this is a tight-knit group, which is good because everybody knows everybody and there's trust as well. Don't see that many places...

It's three towns over from Dallas, yeah, I do think I need some IV training. Maybe an MRI (Magnetic Reels I....something).

Not so good with the acronyms :p
