The Power Amp is a Nikko Alpha 600, The preamp is the Nikko Beta 600 and the Tuner is the Nikko Gamma 400. The cassette Deck is a D900 Three Head Deck, that I pretty much got for shipping on ebay since it matched the other components.
I don't believe they made a Gamma 600 tuner as I have never seen one. The Alpha 600 is rated at 180 WPC. I have a friend who has an Nikko Alpha 800 Power Amp, I beleive is rated at 250 WPC and has similar meters. I like the meters on these guys because they are non conventional analog meters.

Very cool meters. Are they as functional as they are great looking?
I've always wanted to try one of Nikko's bigger amps but have only got up to a 230 so far.

Well you can adjust the inputs so you can make the meters swing quite a bit by turning the inputs down and the preamp up. I don't know that they serve much purpose other than for flash though. :-?
It is one great sounding amp, infact I have a Nikko Aplha 400 also that I bought new and it is sweet sounding too however no meters.

Well the closest thing I have to any of the above is this lightbar "VU Meter".
It's really meant to be more of a visual display item that otherwise serves no real useful purpose. It's completely passive in function and the system can operate it in "bypass" mode with the power turned off. Plus, the settings are somewhat arbritary although inasmuch as the readings are adjustbable, I do have them synchronized to the mixer.

What meters? bit of a waste of time when your power amp only puts out 15 watts and you usually only listen to about 6 of em. mind you with 93db at 1 watt efficiency speakers it gets a bit noisy round here at times.

When I was still running my pair of Sons of Ampzilla, one driving the highs the other driving the lows, they looked like this one.

Here are a couple I wish I owned, you would need pair of these.

I miss them, currently running a small Hafler, I have an Adcom 585 waiting it's turn with Echowars, unfortunately no meters, but these Legacy's are hungry, they sound good with lower power amps, but sound better with more power, The GFA 585 is a dual mono block type amp with high current, just what the Doctor ordered.

Here is one of a few NOS (New Old Stock) Power Meters I have that I scanned in. Had to back light it with a lamp so the # would show up. Once I figure out how to get a good readable pic that will be allowed to upload of my amps I will post them as well.

Yamaha PC2002M.
Does the Marantz scope count? Technically not a meter but it does measure power output. You can't read the power output but the image can indicate stereo separation.
