When installing leader tape which side faces the heads, shiny or dull?

Not sure what type of leader you are using but normally the shiny side is out and the dull side toward the heads!!

I'm using TME (http://usrecordingmedia-store.stores.yahoo.net/tmegr1x82let.html) brand from US Recording Media.

Here's the answer I received form US Recording Media...
"The dull side, the writing surface, should be on the side away from the heads. Thus, the shiny side goes against the heads. The dull side is a coating on the poly film backer. It probably wouldn't make much difference except many people write tape numbers, etc on the leader. "
Thanks!

Hi Doug,
Good to know! I was told it didn't matter either way but it's good to know which way it SHOULD be now!

If it comes in a reel, I assume that the correct way is exactly the one as if it was magnetic tape instead of leader.
