Notice the second pot with led on right hand side.

No knob on the left side and don´t appear to have been one. Some small marks on the center.

Secondary output on the back along with a sticker from the Broadcasting Committee, I guess I could call it.

I always loved the styling of that series of Tandberg gear, but sadly have never owned any of the line up. Very nice looking kit! Get those knobs and selectors replaced asap! *yes*

I will have a stab at it, if you don't mind my poor knowledge of technical terms in both languages.

"A 3001 was also produced with cut-off potmeters and channel selector on the rear. These did not have a stereo decoder - i.e., the card was there, but the components were not present: This to achieve a better signal to noise ratio.

A 3001B was produced, as well."

I guess I´ll need to test it for stereo capabilities.
Still needing an answer on that right side pot, what´s it for?

Sorry, it was late at night, but Norwegian and English are SO similar....pot.meter is the common word for potensiometer.

The far right potmeter are probably wide-normal-narrow OR Muting level.
Try a screwdriver and test how many positions it have.

-Got a inside picture, showing the inside of that switch ?
I never had a 3011 but I guess it normally doesn't have a pcb where that switch is included in the layout. Does your tuner have a serialnumber ?

Yes it´s a switch alright, 2 position type. I get stereo from the variable output, the second output is in parallel.
Tried flicking the switch and the relays in the strange circuit started going on and off. I guess it needs to be connected via the unusual connector for it to work properly.

During testing I managed to fry the input on my pioneer m-73 *fit*
Second time this happens. Took out the right channel on an old Teleton amp last time.

I´m not sure but the output seems to have a very high gain, at 9 o´clock it´s similar to a ordinary line level out.
No serial number on the tuner or amp. Only the green sticker.

Hard to replace something that never was there
