Tascam 112 MKII blinking lights (troubleshooting)

Hi all!

I have a rarely used Tascam MK II 112 that I bought new in 2006? from Sweetwater, and have barely used over the last 5 years.

Kept indoors in AC, and it was hooked up yesterday after shipping to a friend, pro packed, and has blinking lights; unit won't operate.

Any ideas? Manually doesn't have any troubleshooting section.

Good question.... looks like something isn't initializing and the decks blinks error.

Capstan motor, reel motor..... busted belt? Not set to timer record with power up?
