Hi, as you might know, the earliest 3000 series had a powercord with a 2 prong connector, similar to the 3 prong used today.
That 2 prong, is it available separately, so I can solder it to a ordinary powercord ?
Which brand / Store ?
Take a look at the picture, of course I mean the connector wich is supposed to fit in the backside of the Tandberg, not the plug wich goes into the European 230 Volt outlet.....

that one is mine... but if one of you guys needs one of these, just buy it directly - it's a Hosa PWC-178 and you can get them for under $8 lately.
For you folks in Europe, I am happy to send you one at a TH price *reelspin*

Hmmm..... I want a separate/loose two prong that fits in the socket on the backside of old 3000 units. Not with cable, certainly not US cable.
I want one wich I can screw/solder to a cable myself.........
-Or if not possible, the other end should look like this

You need an IEC C9 connector. They are out there, somewhere.

Will your plug fit vintage Accuphase separates like the P300, C200, and T100 set?

Not sure, I haven't seen the power socket on one of those. The other seller says they will but the pics seen I've don't seem to show the same 2-pin.

Why not just take the cable I mentioned and install a good quality 2-pin 230V plug on the other end?

I think I remember Allied Electronic & DigiKey (though Allied is easier to look through & I think a little lower cost) having that style cord listed in their online catalog when I was looking for raw power cord for my employer the other day.
Hope this helps.
