Han D mag demagnetizer- buy the short or longer tip

Before I purchase this, I just wonder if there is a consensus about which is easier to use . The standard length is 2 +/- inches and the longer one is a little over 4 inches in length. Any suggestions? Thanks Norm

The nice thing about the Han D Mag is the magnetic field strength is large enough that you don't have to get right up against the heads. *Most* cassette decks only need a standard probe length. Even if you get within an inch or so of the head, it should be far more than enough field strength to totally clean up your heads.*check*
