..at Goodwill for $0.49 tonight! This is the highest end tape I have ever owned! I'm excited, and just had to share!

At four bits, that's a steal of a price. Too bad there weren't more of them. IMO, that is the very last of the high quality XLII-S tapes. Good catch!*Hi5*

WHAT A FIND!!:-)<-:-)<-:-)<-:-)<- my grandma got me a two-pack of those on clearance once at a portland FRED MEYER back in the late '90s. i still have one of them, the other one went to STUWEE. i still await the day, with baited breath, that i happen across some lucky MA-XG find...

You should use it. I just got three of the 90 minute version of these and tried one out a couple nights ago, it's a definite winner. The price you paid is practically free, they certainly go for more than that.

Thanks guys. I do plan to use it, but I only have one of it, and I am nervous about opening it. I am sure I will eventually but I want to make sure it's something that deserves to be on it.

Whenever I reach for a tape to record on, I always think "Hmm what tape would suit this music, I can use this or that tape instead so that I can save this nice one for something REALLY special".

Tough choices, but I guess most of us go through that with this hobby!

I have a box full of "gently used" ones if you'd like try a few first ....
