I have been looking into getting a R2R deck, so I was wondering if anyone knows any reputable dealers/sellers of R2R decks that will ship to Canada. It looks like most e-bay sellers only ship to USA, lower 48 states.
I was interested in either an Akai or Teac deck, one of their better models, from a dealer that sells serviced units...I don't mind paying more for a serviced unit, I'm sure it's worth the extra $.
Any ideas appreciated...and model Akai or Teac would be best...Thanks!

Check out oaktreeent.com. They are based in Colorado Springs and only do mailorder. I just bought my Onkyo cassette deck from him. He has quite a few R2R's for sale.

I was watching this auction since I Have Teac 7010GSL that was serviced 2 years ago that I thinking about selling.
He now has Teac 6300 for sale. Item # 290243237001. The price seems a little HI, but I just had one of my 6300 serviced locally for $250, which is in mint condition, from a ex Teac tech. The 6300 that are in 9.5 to 10 Mint being 10, were going for $400 - $500. The ex Teac tech offered me $500 for mine, but he had a buyer for mine, he is in Chicago. If you want I can contact him to see if he has anything forsale. PM me if you want me too.
I had the 7010 serviced at a another Teac Service Station and it cost $275.

Thanks for the note. I think I did see the e-bay auction. I did end up buying a deck, but it hasn't arrived yet (an Otari). I'll post about it when it finally arrives at home and is set up and running.
Thanks!
