Yes. Had to have this one. SA thrift store, for $10. It's an Akai with the HD heads, auto-reversing, and ya just gotta love the Akai flourescent displays as the best. Although this deck was way into the bpc era, and was near the end of the line for Akai, it is still (a) an Akai, and (b) a superb unit.

Personnally I don't go for the auto-tape-type sensing, as I like to chose my own bias and equalization. I'm just old school. But this one is so purty, it just had to join the fold. It's missing the play pushbuttons, but they just got knocked off, not destroyed. Time to search for a parts unit.
