As a subtle modification of the Desert Island 10 LPs or music, we have you washed ashore on a secluded island with the video system of your choice and, of course, a source of power. If you could have only ten movies with you to entertain your for all time, what would they be?
My list:
Zulu ~ a very young Michael Caine
Army of Darkness ~ Bruce Campbell, classic comebacks...
Thunderball ~ Sean Connery as 007
Love Actually ~ Colin Firth, Liam Neeson, Bill Nighy
Pride and Prejudice ~ Keira Knightley
Light of Day ~ Michael J. Fox, Joan Jett
Blade Runner ~ Harrison Ford
Mr.Baseball ~ Tom Selleck
Major League ~ Tom Berenger, Charlie Sheen
In Harm's Way ~ John Wayne, Henry Fonda, Patricia Neal...
There's something for all moods in there ..... and all my favorites.
Yours?

10? Boy, that's tough. However, here are a few I'd put in there
"Point Blank" (1967) Lee Marvin in this movie makes every modern so-called action hero look like sissy, panty-waisted wuss.
"The Outfit" (1973) Ditto for Robert Duvall in this flick
"Bedazzled" (the original from 1967)
"Diamonds Are Forever" (1971)
"How to Murder Your Wife" (1965) The best, funniest, courtroom scene ever put on film.

It's nice to see people include some old classics, and not just "yesterday's hot item". Or maybe it speaks to what a bunch of old fossils we are ....

I decided that I've lived such a virtuous life that I get two selections:
The Replacements ~ Keanu Reeves, Gene Hackman
Goldfinger ~ Sean Connery as 007 again
The Battle of Britain ~ classic footage of Spitfires and Hurricanes
We Were Soldiers Once ~ Mel Gibson
Das Boot ~ Great footage ....
The Lord of the Rings (trilogy, but really one long assed movie...)
For Love of the Game ~ Kevin Costner
The Search for the Holy Grail ~ Monty Python Classic
Spartacus ~ Kirk Douglas classic
The Battle of the Bulge ~ Henry Fonda et al... not true to the story, but a good flick
And I see that stuwee didn't let me down ....

Well, I always liked that Burt Reynolds flick, "White Lightning". Moonshine, that's the kind of XXX you're talking about, right? After all, the XXX is printed right on the jug.

Das Boot ~ Great footage ....
I've the director's cut edition and it's almost 4 hours long!.
The submarine of the movie was rented to Steven Spielberg to shot the scenes of the nazi submarine in Raiders of Lost Ark.

I could never live on a desert island because I can't narrow my collection of music or movies down to 10. I would definately take my favorite movie of all time, "FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH". Probabably a Clint Eastwood spaghetti western too.

Since I'm the only one to admit to having very poor taste, 'Porkys' and I can't believe not one mention of 'The Blues Brothers' *hypnot* which is the definitive musical movie of all time!! T&A, Nuns with rulers!! R&B for Days *check*

I'm glad to see someone else loves "Light Of Day". It's a favorite of mine. I've always thought the acting was very good. Very underrated flick. I saw it at the theater when it came out. I watched it again the other night.
