Does anyone have the pins on the back of the DBX200 that bypasses the noise reduction unit(s) That they would like to sell?
The one I got off Ebay did not have them, and I know a lot of TH members here have a unit like this in the arsenal of equipment!
I know I can use just regular RCA cables, but Im a thinking cables would b too exspensive and make the back of all this equiptment look like a web of cables!*eyepop*
I will eventually get a noise reduction unit and an expander at some future time, but for now I thought someone here had those pins to put into place for the time being!
Or maybe someone can direct me to a plce that I could purchase these pins directly!
Thanks
Bob

About 4" of speaker cord or lamp cord and two packages of RCA jacks at Radio Shack, etc will do this fine HOWEVER...

You don't actually need them.

Since all the processor loops switch in/out and swtching IN just leaves a broken connection. tape a piece of paper (red, maybe) with NO! over them if you keep hitting them.

Original 200, 200X or the a later version? The Original is an unpowered switch box and the others have lights and use a plugin.

This is a 200 model and no ac cord attached!
So I dont need to short the rca's to get it working?
I'll try that
Thanks WB

I've got a DBX400 and I love it to death.
I would never, ever, ever give it up.

Ad as has already been stated, you don't need to add jumpers to the processor or NR jacks, they only kick in if you select them from the front panel.

About 4" of speaker cord or lamp cord and two packages of RCA jacks at Radio Shack.

This is what I did. As WB said you don't need them with the bypass switches but it will prevent problems if you use jumpers like not noticing a BP switch out and you can not get music.

Here is my post on servicing the switches of the DBX-200. These switches do not like old age. Cleaning mine got rid of ALL the problems I was having with my 200. I did the same thing with my DBX-3BX.

Just waiting for one of these boxes having heard you guys talking about them.
Needing to be able to record to any one of three decks. Nuts, eh?

Only problem is I have to wait for the thing to come across the Atlantic from the flippin' USA! *reelspin*

Radio Shack had a switch like the 200 minus the processing switches for years...

Here is a thread in our Marketplace archives...
