Hello to all Members,
Just want to introduce myself. My Name is Fred. I would like to make the following statement. I was one of the first to join this group when it was new. I did NOT join to sell my Products. This is my First Post.
Some of you know me from eBay. I sell Cassette Belt Kits, R to R machines, Turntables or Belts for most anything. I started my Belt research a little over 5 years ago and decided to focus on Nakamichi, although I sell kits for most any Brand or Model.
My belts are manufactured in Japan. I chose this manufacturer because they do not sell to the public, only to the Cassette Deck and Turntable manufacturers, which in my opinion, assures Higher Quality.
I received many request for a Capstan Belt for Nakamichi that worked, especially for the Classic Transport. I purchased belts from every manufacturer I could find in the United States, but was not successful. It simply did not exist.
I decided to have the exact Nakamichi OCO 8096C copied. When I approched the Factory in Japan, I was informed they actually held a Contract with Nakamichi, and supplied all of their Belts ! They had actually made the OCO 8096C FOR Nakamich! Needless to say, I was excited. I now use their belts 100 % . My 8096C is the 8096-D2, and is an EXACT duplication. The D-2 goes through all of the same manufacturing processes and testing proceedures as the 8096C that was supplied to Nakamichi.
My belts are higher in price. I have Freight Costs from Japan to contend with. I purchase all belts in bulk and make the kits by hand. I Guarantee my Belts to be the Highest Quality available, from ANY source. Every Belt I sell has a 100% satisfaction Guarantee.
All other Belts currently being sold in the USA are manufactured in China. There is no longer a manufacturer of drive belts in the United States. You can buy from American Companies, but the product is manufactured in China.
If I can help members with any Belt problems, I would love to have the opportunity and your Business would be Greatly appreciated! Thanks! Fred
