Please simply upload pictures to TH rather than links.

Yours is one of the high performance JVC decks with switchable limiters. I used an HR-D725 for years. Can you believe we would pay $800US for these at one time!?

Hi, Nakdoc,

thanks for tips, how to upload pics on this forum.

Yes, these decks are really sturdy solid alloy construction with a very nice sophisticated electronic circuitry. videorekordfer recorded many cassettes (movies, concerts, and music only in LP mode). and heads are still in really good condition after so many years. not yet been exchanged only electrolytic capacitors in the power supply and motherboard MOTOR CONTROL (capstan) recorder is a nice modular concept as the electronics.

your model HR-D725 VCR is really high class with excellent 4DA system.

All of the links were very helpful to me and the You Tube clip provided many details I would not see often concerning the internals of a VHS deck.

An excellent specimen of a VHS deck to boot. Thank you for your efforts.
