A question on Minidisc.

Minidisc LP recordings downloaded to Minidisc from a computer. Am I right in thinking that those recordings cannot be wiped clean/blanked on a normal Minidisc deck ie Sony MDS-JE 520 ? do they have to be wiped clean/blanked on a computer ?

All I know is you cant erase original pre-recorded that where sold they where made the same way as a CD......

As for those home recordings done on a computer I cant see why they can't be erased unless you have the protection tab on of course.....reelspin*

They can be wiped by your home deck easily. I have several MD NetWalkman and MD Walkman that I use with PC-transferred files and a Sony home MD deck -JS510 (?) and it will zeroize the PC-downloaded MD's quite happily.
