Hi all. Sorry I haven't been around.
I just bought this DR-M07 at ValueVillage for 6$. Anyone have tips/info/comments/suggestions/etc?

Here it is playing back music from a BASF CR-M-II 60

Good luck with the DR-M07, but the picture is to dark to get much of an idea of its features. I am not familiar with that model, but it is from 1987.
I would probably give the insides a look, never know what critters you may find. The basic; Check AC Cord for safety; a cleanup, especially of capstans, pinch rollers and heads seems in order if you have not already done that.

Depending on you skills: clean (DeOxit) controls/contacts/RCAs. If the belt(s) is original, well it will likely be ready for replacement. Belts, general lube and door (dampening) operation are areas that require some specific knowledge and/or a Service Manual.

If you have not check out some its specifications go here;
