Binding post types, or spring-loaded? MCM sells them both if you're looking to replace them yourself. Heck, even RadioShack has some, but quality is unknown.

Take yer pick, mate! Did they dent inward the rear panel of the amp? No damage to the rear panel ,,it,s freaky Scorp it looks like somebody just gave the binding posts a whack and loosened them up ,,I haven,t pulled the cover Figure I,d take it over to my tech and get some inside pics while he checks for and Damage inside,,he bad news is that UPS wants to pic the unit up so there insurance dept can check it over,,,This should give them another shot to F--- the amp up a second time

I have some 5 way binding posts. Were yours plastic on the knurl? Go to parts express then let me know what you want. You know where to contact me. I need to order more any way. It should be one solder for each post. They use the case for ground.

FF: Broken terminals are common in the M-80. Big heavy amp with exposed and fragile binders is not a good combo. Save all the broken parts. I've seen fixes that had new mounting plate installed and also glued-up using silicon gel. IMO, keeping original is the key to maintaining value.

I pulled the top cover off this AM to I could take some pics for the seller ,,it appears that the binding post may not be the major point of Damage it appears the Plastic Bracket in side that the Post assembly attach to are Cracked and broken loose screws etc

I can't remember exactly what we used on the M-80, but they weren't your standard 5-way binding posts. If memory serves, they're a binding post of sorts with two slots where you can jam in a bare wire.

In some way, shape or form, this can be fixed. I wouldn't let UPS near it.

heres the Good Karma ,,The amp Fires up and does not go into protect,,which I think is a Good Sign,,, Heres the Great Karma UPS was scheduled to pick the amp up ,,But the pick-up Driver is my old UPS driver who serviced my Building,,,,I use d to give him Free Coffee in the Winter and Free pop in the Summer and when he ate at my deli I,d Load him Up and give him 50% off,,,so when I told him I wasn,t getting a warm fuzzy,, he called his supervisor who then made an arrangement to have the UPS inspector come to my Deli Monday and inspect it on premises meanwhile I,m taking it to My tech on saturday so I can get an idea on the cost of repair ,,If it,s repairable

That connector is a proprietary screw type, not a binding post, and is unobtanium. HK used the same assembly, but it too is unobtanium. How many are broken? I have pieces I've saved from a broken set.

I have pieces I've saved from a broken set.It appears that the internal plastic bracket that the Connector attach to has taken the brunt of the damage,,I don,t see any damage to to inputs but I,m looking at this thing at my Deli and can,t take the time to give it a closer look Saturday I be able to give it a close inspection I,m just lucky UPS won,t get their Mitts on it
