I've got a computer program for designing your own CD covers, labels, J-cards, etc. A few weeks ago, I created some replica J-card inserts for the Maxell XLII-S & the Sony HF-S blank cassettes, being as I have some that I recovered & erased, but wrote on the inserts. They're not 100% exact, but they look pretty good. I haven't printed them up yet because I haven't gotten around to buying some card stock for my printer. Does anyone else do this?

I personally don't do it though I've heard of people who have. If you have the software and talent (plus a good printer) to run off some clones, more power to you. rather creative in my opinion. Any particular one(s) you looking for? If there is one you want and I have it, I can post some raw scans and you can copy/resize/print them for your own use.
Anyone want to start a discussion dedicated to this?

This one online store still sells them, I believe they are plain, generic ones at 10 for $2.70. Great for lazy people like me if you can't be bothered creating your own...here is the link (I have no connect with these guys):

Yeah, I came across that site, too. Those J cards are one item I wish Radio Shack still carried. However, I got some on closeout thru www.atozaudio.com, 100 for 95 cents. I bought 200.

I do. I have MS Word templates for most of my stock of used tapes that I pick up at thrifts, since the j-cards are usually written on. There are some places that sell j-card stock still, but right now my templates and a decent color laser seem a pretty good match, except that the results are on thinner paper than card stock.
