Anyone still have a set of these? They were the ones with mics built onto pseudo ears. They supposedly recorded exactly as you heard and if I remember correctly the sound was spectacular when played back through headphones. Jvc did a lot with this format even releasing some vinyl recordings. I remember the headphones coming with a dummy head that you could attach to a mic stand. Internet has some plans to build some using a styrofoam head. Would be interested in hearing your experiences with this type of recording. Jim

I have never owned them.
But I was very impressed by a demo I attended in Berlin in the mid 70's.
To me it made perfect sense to put the mikes where your ears are.
What a simple concept !!
Thats where the audiophile concepts fall down for me,live music Does Not come from 2 boxes in front of me .
