Favorite Reels?

Sorry if this is and odd question..But what are some of your favorite reels.By that i mean the look of the reel itself.

mine were the kodak reels,irsih brand reels and the older clear sony reels

While I truly love the classic Maxell "M" looks above, my all-time favorite is this one:

I like the wide-open tape slots, and Scotch was always a closet favorite of mine, despite their tape problems. I also like the TDK GX reel too.

My favorite reel design, the Maxell double M is second. I have 6 of these in silver from the early fifties and they are by far my favorite reels ever.

I also like the 3 hole scotch reel.

For 7" the Maxell plastic design is my favorite reel, but I endup using the super common 3M/Scotch reel the most. I probably have 7 or 8 of the Maxells and a bunch of others.

I also love the 7" Sony reel design but I don't have any empties-I should dump my PR-150 sometime since it's all crap.

That Darklab design existed with several different names on it including TDK, Teac, and Pioneer. The three holer version of it was used by Sony and is so-so for looks in my book.

my favorites so far are the audiotape brand reels worn by my akai gx-400d-ss in my avatar area. i copped five of them about 3 months ago.
just love that teardrop shaped cutout.

ReVox blue metal
Dokorder silver metal
TDK AMR7 silver metal (2 holes)
Maxell MR-7 silver metal
Scotch red plastic (2 holes)

My 10.5" favs:

Pioneer PR-101 silver metal
ReVox blue metal
Scotch silver metal 3 holes
Scotch blue metal 6 holes

The only reels I like and don't own them are Dokorder 10.5" silver metal and Scotch 10.5" silver metal (4 holes) *hypnot*
