I have found a place in Manchester who do very good prices on everything reel to reel from splicing blocks to full reels.

the guy quoted me £13.00 and VAT for a pancake 10.5 2,600ft , which to me is an excellent price, if you buy in bulk you get even further discounts

Ill most certainly be shopping there in future!!

I also used them this week for some RMGI SM911, quick delivery and no messing around. Very pleased with the SM911 too, especially at 15ips/IEC EQ - very nice indeed to use new tape.

Yes it is I mean £13.50 for a 10.5 brand new pancake is a great deal, when ive saved up my pennies ill be going to collect 12 new tapes and fill up all these empty reels I have, the place is only 40 miles away from my girlfriends. and its great to see a place who sells things reasonably , and the plus side is you know the tape isnt going to traumatise your machine

the chap as I say was incredibly helpful and im sure would welcome any sales as he seems to be one of the only tape sellers in the UK at the moment at realistic prices, why pay for crap on ebay when you can buy brand new for same price

"Good Site for Pancakes"

Is that Aunt Jemima or Bisquick? :P :)

Seriously I find it crazy the Uk has to pay the same number price, even though their dollar is worth twice of the US dollar. All because it has to cross the Atlantic. Wow. Doesn't seem to be an issue from China to the US.
