looking for some minor parts for a pair of marantz hd880"s i scored for a killer price.the vari-q plugs were missing and two of the cover pins are broken.i was wondering if one of the used shops out ther might have some of these parts laying around that i might purchase ag1958*hope*

Sweet Deal! I love HD880's. I just finished restoring a pair myself. Vari-Q plugs are hard to find, but they do pop up on ebay once in a great while, fetching some serious coin when they do. Most people took them out and threw them away. I bet if I went to a landfill and dug down through 30 years worth of stuff, I bet I would find some, lol! You better grace us with a picture of those big boys, or I'm gonna revolt! :D
