Had beer, bratwürst, hot dogs, burgers, beans, and ice cream yesterday at a friends house. Came home stuffed.
Today is pretty much just relax and recharge day. Mrs Des and I just got back from grocery shopping. We went and grabbed a quick breakfast at IHOP before going. I had a belgian waffle topped with sour cream and boysenberry syrup (delicious) and a side of bacon. Washed it down with a Coke and a coffee. Mrs Des had bacon+eggs+pancakes.
We always go somewhere and eat before going grocery shopping. Last thing we want to do is go to the supermarket on an empty stomach. Sounds counterintuative at first, but the logic is: if we aren't hungry, we'll only get what we think we will need for the next week as opposed to filling up the cart (and emptying our wallet) with a lot of nonsense impulse buys that "look good" at the moment.
For lunch, we are going to make home made pizza with a Pillsbury crust in a rectangular shaped pan, spoon in some tomato sauce mixed with garlic, onion, and oregano. Then top it with cheddar, monterrey jack, and mozerella cheese. Probably top it with some olives and tomatoes. Or else just eat plain after baking.
Afternoon snack and dinner is usually light fare such as a bowl of cereal, some fruit, and maybe some chocolate chip cookies or Pop Tarts.

Putting a steak in the broiler.
Put some black pepper, minced onion and a little garlic pepper on it, in addition to marinading it in Italian dressing.
First steak in a while, and I'm excited.

Sorry Scorp I,m anti- Marinate I.ll go for brushing on something while grilling or Baking but thats all ,,,marinates tend to cook meat or fish ,I prefer to let the heat source do that,, but every body has their own ideas on cooking but marinating steak is a major no-no in my cook book
