Yup, here are my European Mirrored Model M10 pair at close range. These were sold in the US but were not mirrored like this. I have another pic of them hooked up to my Kenwood KR-10000III, but I wanted to take a pic of them together so the beautiful walnut trim can be seen. These are one of the rarest speakers in the world of Marantz, being produced for less than 1 year in 1980, before the untimely death of their designer, former JBL engineer Edmond May. This line-M3, M10 & M16 were the last ones designed by him, when he passed away, production ceased. These things are tuned down to 25Hz and believe me, they get down that low, EASILY! Magnet of the M's 12" woofer is much larger than it's sibling from the HD/DS line. These were a few bucks shy of $1000 per pair, only one other model even more rare than these is the much larger M16 @ almost $1600 per pair!, which looks like a HD880/DS940 on steroids, lol!

Thanks for the look Big Tuna. First the Kenwood Seven and now these. You have an excellent Japanese big brand speaker collection. IMO, Marantz speakers are under rated, which is understandable considering they were over shadowed by the amps and speakers. The dome tweeters set them apart from the JBL's and HPM's. I briefly had a pair of one of the HD's and I thought them much more neutral than HPM's or JBL's with better balance to boot. Nice heavy cabinets too.
