Today I've seen one like this for sale in a pawn shop:

They asked about 30 or 35 euros for it, but cosmetically it had some scratches.
Is the first time I saw one like this.

Not at all a fan of that styling. I'd be interested in hearing it, but doubt it would find a place in my collection.

Actually, I think you should buy it right away. That "closed-loop-dual-capstan" drive means very steady playback--- no "wobbly" sounding piano notes, for example.

It looks like it's built to the teeth! I'd buy it!

Take Care,

Mike

Ola Reeler,

That's a new one on me.

The fascia layout is interesting, looks as if they've ditched the orthodox ergonomics for a "lifestyle" product. I'm guessing that would make it a later design model and for the price asked could be quite a bargain.

I wonder if any of our esteemed members have come across this deck?

Really I posted it here to know what kind of machine it was, because I'm not in the K7 stuff, but I lloked at the heads and the head wear was noticeable for me.

I thought that maybe it was a "hiend" model and some of you could be interested on it, but not me.

Thanks for the inputs.

It is a top of the line of the last marantz decks. Not a superstar deck, but it's worth more dollars than you were asked for. I, as a collector (http://webs.ono.com/llagona/coleccion.html), would have bougth it.

Nice deck in either form. Sounds nice too! With the narrow display and a tiny cassette window you do not get to see alot of stuff moving and dancing around inside.

Enjoy!

I have a Philips FC-60 three head deck that looks similar.
